5 Byrd Expectations

Be on Time
  • ATTENDANCE MATTERS!
  • Be on time to all your classes
  • Be in your seat by the time the bell rings for every period 
 
Only use approved electronic devices
  • Chromebooks are assigned to complete school assignments 
  • They are not allowed at lunch to play video games
  • Personal electronic devices are not allowed and may be confiscated 
     
Use Appropriate Language
  • Use kind words when speaking to others
  • Be polite and say, "excuse me", "thank you", "your welcome"
  • Use academic language to express your thoughts
 
Be Responsible
  • Be in uniform (Byrd Dress Code) at all time
  • Remember to bring your PE clothes
  • Complete your assignments and turn in your homework on time
 
Be Respectful
  • Respect yourself, your teacher and staff and your peers
  • Respect and protect school property
  • Keep your hands and feet to yourself
 
 
Additional Reminders:
  • Passes are not issued the first and last 10 minutes of class.
  • Students must have a pass to go to an office and to go to the restroom.
  • No other electronic gadgets allowed.
  • Food and Gum are not allowed in Class or on the PE Field
  • Bicycles and skateboards need to be locked in the racks and may not be ridden on campus.
